Resurfacing Work This Weekend on M11

Resurfacing work on the M11 between junctions 6 and 10.

Part of the work includes installing new road studs and lining. Once complete, drivers will benefit from a safer, smoother, and better-defined road surface.

Work is continuing to progress well, and it is planned to finish this phase by Saturday 3 August, weather permitting.

To complete the work safely, it will be necessary to close the road overnight between 9pm and 5am on the following dates.

Closures and diversions

Closure Dates Diversion
M11 southbound between junctions 10 and 8 Thursday 25 July, 9pm to Wednesday 31 July, 5am

Southbound traffic will be diverted via the A505, A120, A10. (Map 1)

Traffic travelling southbound on the A11 will be diverted to the M11 junction 10 to follow the main diversion.
