UPDATE: Important roadwork information
M11 junctions 7a to 8 – resurfacing
National highways plan to carry out the remaining work on the M11 over four nights between Thursday 12 September and Sunday 15 September. They will work between 9pm and 5am, weather permitting.
Closures and diversions
To carry out the work safely, they will need to close the M11 and divert traffic as detailed below:
| Closure | Dates | Diversion |
| M11 northbound between junction 7a to 8 | Thursday 12 September to Sunday 15 September (four nights) | Drivers will leave the M11 at junction 7a to be diverted via the A1025, A414, A10 and A120. At junction 8, drivers will rejoin the M11 to continue their journey northbound. |
