Theydon Bois is a vibrant residential village and civil parish situated in the Epping Forest district of the county of Essex. Our Parish Council is a very active one. Please feel free to look around our website and find out more about our work and our mission to ensure that our village remains a very pleasant place to live, to work and to visit.
Working for you
Whether you’re an existing resident or a new one, attending a monthly Parish Council meeting will give you a true insight into the work we do throughout the village – from covering Finance, Highways, Allotments, Planning and Community Initiatives to Cemetery and much, much more.
Due to the Coronavirus outbreak, Council meetings will now take place via video conferencing. Any member of the public or press wishing to participate should please email the Clerk for the Zoom details on email@example.com

Planning Committee Meetings:
Due to the Coronavirus outbreak, meetings of the Parish Council Planning Committee will take place via video conferencing. Any parties wishing to submit written comments for consideration by the above Committee, or wishing to register to speak on a specific application, should please email directly to the Planning Clerk on firstname.lastname@example.org by 17:00 on the day prior to the meeting.

Visiting our Parish Office team
The Parish Office is located at Theydon Bois Village Hall. Opening hours are posted on the office door. Each member of our team will be as flexible as possible, though there will be occasions when the office is closed due to training or holiday commitments. Presently, the office will be open on Thursday and Friday mornings only.
Agendas for Council Meetings will be displayed on the Noticeboard outside the Village Hall, in Coppice Row, 3 days before the public meeting and on this website. Copies can also be obtained by contacting the Parish Office.
