At the Full Council meeting on 24th November, Chair of the Council Peter Gooch presented the Villager of the Year award, to Phil Simmance, Brian Revell, Ivan Pollock and Fiona Bradley.
The four villagers staged a fund raiser for Ukraine at very short notice, earlier in the year, raised an amazing amount of money for this worthy cause and arranged a fabulous evening out for all who bought tickets.
On the 25th of November, the four award winners switched on the Christmas tree lights at Theydon Bois Village Hall.
